The Kennedy Center's board has voted to add President Donald Trump's name to the Washington DC performing arts venue's facade, just two months after a federal judge ordered its removal for violating laws requiring congressional approval for renaming. The board, now largely composed of Trump allies following appointments he made in February 2025, approved adding "Restored and Renovated By President Donald J. Trump" to the center's official name and authorized a two-year closure for renovations.
