US musician D4vd, legally named David Anthony Burke, has entered a not guilty plea to first-degree murder charges in connection with the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose dismembered remains were discovered in a Tesla registered to him last September. The 21-year-old artist faces additional charges including murder for financial gain and killing a witness to an investigation involving alleged sexual acts with a minor. Prosecutors allege Burke killed the teenager at his Hollywood Hills home in April 2025 to protect his successful music career, which she was allegedly threatening that night.
