Olympic bronze medalist Jasmine Jones, who competed in the two-woman bobsled event at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, was honored with a surprise celebration in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, attended by family and friends. Jones's mother was able to witness her daughter's achievement in person after community members contributed to a GoFundMe campaign that funded her travel to the games. Before transitioning to bobsled, Jones had initially pursued Olympic dreams in track and field, training at local facilities including Virtus Barbell gym in Westmoreland County.
